FusionServer G5500 Data Center Heterogeneous Server

The Huawei FusionServer G5500 is a heterogeneous server positioned for data center deployment. It delivers high-density heterogeneous compute power and supports GPUDirect RDMA as well as P2P interconnect technologies. It supports one-click topology switching, which provides the optimal heterogeneous topology configurations for diverse workloads. The server uses a fully modular design, with independent CPUs and heterogeneous unit that support long-term evolution. The G5500 is a best-in-class heterogeneous computing platform for application scenarios such as AI, HPC, intelligent cloud, video analytics, and database acceleration.

Superb performance, flexible configuration, and fully modular design

Exceptional Heterogeneous Computing Capabilities

  • The 4U chassis supports up to 8 FHFL or 32 HHHL heterogeneous accelerator cards
  • Supports GPUDirect RDMA and Peer-to-Peer interconnect technologies, enabling direct memory access for multiple GPU cards

Flexible Topology Configuration

  • Supports 1 full-width or 2 half-width heterogeneous computing nodes
  • Supports one-click topology switching and multiple topologies with different CPU/GPU configuration ratios

Fully Modular Design

  • The design of decoupled CPU module and heterogeneous modules support CPU and heterogeneous unit for long-term evolution
  • Power Supply Units (PSUs), hard drives, and fan modules are designed in a fully modular style, supporting hot swap and redundancy backup and simplifying O&M
