S5730-SI Series Standard Gigabit Ethernet Switches
The S5730-SI series switches (S5730-SI for short) are next-generation standard gigabit Layer 3 Ethernet switches. They can be used as an access or aggregation switch on a campus network or as an access switch in a data center.
The S5730-SI series switches provide flexible full gigabit access and cost-effective fixed GE/10 GE uplink ports. Meanwhile, the S5730-SI can provide 4 x 40 GE uplink ports with an interface card.
The S5730-SI supports simplified Operations and Maintenance (O&M), intelligent Stack (iStack), flexible Ethernet networking. It also provides enhanced Layer 3 features and mature IPv6 features.
Full gigabit access, GE/10 GE/40 GE uplink ports, power supply backup, and SVF for next-generation switching
- Provide flexible full gigabit access, cost-effective fixed GE/10 GE uplink ports, and 4 x 40 GE uplink ports with an interface card
- Support 1+1 backup of power supplies and a mix of AC and DC power supplies
- Support Super Virtual Fabric (SVF) and can function as a client. SVF virtualizes the campus network architecture of ‘Core/Aggregation Switches + Access Switches + APs’ into a single device for simple management, and supports plug-and-play for easy deployment and simplified O&M
