SmartAX 10 Gbit/s PON ONUs

High-capacity 10 Gbit/s Passive Optical Network (PON) Optical Networking Units (ONUs) for resilient, high-density Fiber-To-The-Curb (FTTC) and Fiber-To-The-Building (FTTB) services. SmartAX MA58xx Series ONUs support 10 Gbit/s upstream bandwidth, and are fully compatible with GPON networks.

  • G.fast is a new high-bandwidth access technology that applies to copper lines. The MA5818 provides rates of up to 1 Gbit/s over existing twisted pairs. G.fast is applicable to FTTB and FTTD networks
